Andy runs workshops teaching a wide variety of circus skills. The workshops can run
from an introductory two-hour session to a full day, right through long projects
leading up to a final performance (a trunk of hats & costumes can be provided).
The workshops can be tailored for schools, drama groups, youthclubs, Scouts/Guides,
corporate groups and
people with disabilities and can be run as formal teaching sessions or as a drop-in event.
The workshops are suitable for anyone aged seven and over. They include:
Juggling (scarves, balls and hats), Juggling clubs (including passing), Diablo, Devilstick, Rola-bola,
Spinning plates, Cigar boxes, Stilts,
Walking ladder, Unicycling, Ball spinning,
Chinese ribbons, Poi, Pedalgoes, Tightrope.
Maximum of thirty participants per session.
All skills can be taught at beginner level through to intermediate/advanced.
Andy has taught tightrope and various circus skills to two amateur theatre groups for
performances of Barnum.
